Hello everyone,
Well the time is certainly flowing by and Kai is nearly thirteen weeks old.
I have to say that those first six and a bit weeks were the hardest and of course the most trying of not only my patience but also my resolve to not take it personally.
He just wants his food,
he is not trying to purposefully deafen me,
he just wants his food NOW is all.
So here we are on the other side of that maddness and we feel a lot better at decerning Kai's intentions and needs. We even feel confident enough to change his daily schedule to suit us and help him stick to it. We're used to Kai's midnight feed, but we just need him to nap for longer during the daytime which he seems to be taking well to so far.
Kai can lift and hold his his head up well when he has to and has found his hands. He apparently loves his hands so much that he has choked audibly on his fingers a few times now even removing his dummy to do so.
The two of us are well as can be, by the way, in case you were wondering.
Although there is not much to tell as for the last couple of weeks it's been raining heaps so we've been home bodies not that we needed an excuse. The point is that we're sane. As we ever were.
