Innerspace was a good movie I thought...

Hay there looky loos.

You know, it would not be a proper pregnancy without at least some pre-emptive photos of the baby to share around, and if you squint really hard at the the lower half of the bub, you can see that it has absolutly no sex at all. Hasn't grown it or umm, yeah grown it, that'll do.
It's (I can call it an it for now until birth cos I don't want to know until then so there..) apparently moving about quite a bit and it's heartrate is at 170 bpms. This movement and, of course, the growing cavity is still causing Kelly a lot of distress. Probably one of her worse days today and there really is nothing I can do except make stupid and inane movie references to cheer her up.
The best thing you can do for morning (sic) sickness is to just exist and hope it ends real soon.

What makes the cheese go round...

Okay
So there we are sitting down to tea with Kelly's parents (who have moved up here) when Kelly regails us all with a story from her day at work.
During her duties as a Chiropractic Assistant, Kelly often finds herself playing with patient's children in the kids corner at her work. One of these times though, Kelly has looked up to see a little girl playing with the Easy Bake Oven.
After "cooking" the dish, the girl brings it over to Kelly to eat.
"Aww, what did you bake for me?", Kelly asked.
"Pizza", said the little girl and Kelly started to feel really queesy.
Theresa, her workmate, just laughed and said "Pretend it's a beesting".
"Mm mm, this is nice", proclaimed Kelly as she bit into thin air.
The fact that Kelly had to pretend an imaginary food was something else has amused me no end.

If that isn't silly enough, I hired Kelly a stack of weeklies to go through when she was feeling sick, nice girly ones. Idiot me got that old Julia Roberts film, Mystic Pizza.

Evan out...

Evan says Excited, Survey says Bumh Bowh

It really is hard to be over the moon when Kelly feels so poorly.
There hasn't really been time for the levity of the situation to sink in.
I mean, sure we've dicussed names and dreamed of the future with a little
boy or girl but when I can't say the words Pizza or Tofu, without Kelly running from the room,
I kind of have to watch what I say.
Food's out for a start, unless I know she likes it.
How about some melted cheese, or some crusty bread rolls with coleslaw?
Otherwise I just say Hot Chocolate, and the sun is shining.
This baby, when it starts to become more like one, is due in November.
Around the middle, 18th or something like that.
Until then I will prattle on.

As if it wasn't obvious

Baby.
A baby.
9 weeks along.
It's way to early and late for me to write anything more intelligible.
Yay.
